Please take a moment to browse through the website to learn more about my day care. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

I'm Nimmy. I bring over 17 years of experience nurturing children in Montessori and preschool settings. I bring a deep passion for early childhood development and individualized learning. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Science and a Master's in Nutrition, which enriches my holistic approach to care and education.
Licensed & Certified: Blooming Buds is DCFS-licensed daycare, certified by ExceleRate Illinois in Licensed Circle of Quality. I’m also certified in First Aid & CPR, Infant CPR, and Shaken Baby Syndrome prevention, ensuring your child’s safety is always my top priority.
My Vision 💖: I believe in creating a safe, loving, and joyful home environment where children feel secure, valued, and inspired to grow—socially, physically, and intellectually.
Individualized Learning: Each child is a unique individual, full of creativity, intelligence, and personality. I offer personalized care and playful learning experiences that support every child’s journey.
At Blooming Buds Home Day Care, I follow a weekly theme-based curriculum designed to spark curiosity and support age-appropriate development. Each activity is thoughtfully planned to nurture the whole child—socially, emotionally, intellectually, and physically.
My goal is to offer every child an individualized experience that honors their unique pace, personality, and learning style. I believe children learn best from one another, so I create a relaxed, creative environment where they can build friendships, explore new ideas, and grow through meaningful play.

I focus on both fine motor skills—like puzzles, coloring, cutting, matching, writing, and playing musical instruments—and gross motor skills such as dancing, sports, and active play. I gently introduce social manners like saying “please,” “thank you,” and learning to take turns, helping children build empathy and appreciation for others.
Five Stars are not enough starts to indicate my level of satisfaction. My daughter was fortunate to spend the last three years with Miss Nimmy, and my wife and I are eternally grateful for her experiences, and the experiences we all shared as a family. Miss Nimmy provided Alex with the perfect environment for learning, sharing, and caring, and fully prepared her for Kindergarten. We will never forget the love and support that Miss Nimmy gave our daughter.

We are so thankful for Miss Nimmy and Blooming Buds!! Each day, she pours her heart and soul into all she does for the children there. From creative crafts and songs, to learning to read and write, Miss Nimmy teaches it all! Our son is very high energy and can be a lot to handle at times, yet Miss Nimmy shows him unlimited patience and helps redirect his energy into opportunities for learning and growth. Highly recommend Blooming Buds for anyone looking for an in-home daycare in the Northwest suburbs…you won’t be disappointed!

We have loved our time with Blooming Buds Home Day Care. Ms. Nimmy has helped our daughter grow in her joy, kindness, skills, and knowledge. Watching our daughter transform from a shy flower into an outgoing and kinder garden ready kid has been such a gift. I have been so impressed with Nimmy's "whole child" approach to teaching. Lydia has learned to speak extemporaneously through structured show and tell, she's learned about the many aspects of our environment through learning about the animals, insects and plant life cycles and she felt the rewarding feeling of completing advanced craft projects. Not to mention, the friends that Lydia has made at Ms. Nimmy's have been a welcome addition to her week.
I would recommend Ms. Nimmy to anyone looking for a caring, thoughtful and fun child-care provider.

+ 💬 How do I get started with enrollment?
I begin with a virtual tour to introduce your family to my daycare program and answer any questions you may have. After that, I invite parents for an in-person visit to see the daycare space and complete the enrollment paperwork.
+ 🎂 Do you celebrate children’s birthdays?
Yes, we love celebrating birthdays! Parents are welcome to bring cupcakes for their child to share with classmates. It’s a joyful way to make your child feel special.
+ ⏰ Can we drop off early, pick up late, or add extra care days?
Please contact me in advance to discuss early drop-off or late pickup options. Additional care days for part-time child depend on classroom ratios and availability of open spots.
+ 🧸 How can we help our child transition to daycare?
Transitioning typically takes a few days to a week. Children adjust as they learn the new routine and build friendships. Parents can support this process by picking up early during the first couple of days and keeping drop-offs brief. This helps children settle in more smoothly.
At Blooming Buds Home Daycare, we believe that healthy eating habits start early and that mealtimes can be joyful, educational, and delicious. This guide is designed to help parents make informed, practical choices that support their child’s growth and well-being. Children who eat balanced meals are more focused, energetic, and emotionally resilient.
+ 🧃 Building a Balanced Plate
Tip: Let your child help choose fruits or veggies at the store—it builds excitement and ownership!
+ 🍽️ Smart Snacking Strategies
Avoid ultra-processed snacks high in sugar or salt. Keep it simple, fresh, and fun.
+ 💧 Hydration Habits
Water is the best drink for growing bodies. Limit sugary beverages and offer water throughout the day. A reusable water bottle can make hydration feel special.
